What Could Be Better … A Family Outing Under The Stars

For a local Gippsland family living in Sale, Lia’s Christmas present for dad Norman and partner Alex was a treat to remember. To the background sounds of a tranquil ocean just metres away, the three had a fabulous time in very pleasant conditions observing an array of the Southern Sky’s finest offerings. Alex, originally from France, was seeing a sky in detail that was entirely new to him – an added element for Alex of our astronomy tour.

But for dad and daughter, it was also a new experience seeing star clusters and nebulae through the eyepiece of a powerful telescope. These experiences are unforgettable as they are a once in a lifetime opportunity. Larger than life at the moment, gas giant Jupiter is also a show stopper with its size and colourful markings – a real treat for observers. Our tour went well into the night finishing after midnight (tours start later during daylight saving months) but all were very satisfied at the end of the night. Our astronomy tours are a great gift idea for any occasion, for an individual, couple, or an entire family (maximum tour group 4 people) …  Very popular for birthdays and Christmas – and they are loved and appreciated by their recipients!
