Elena’s Astronomy Tour Finally Takes Place And It Was Worth The Wait!

A Late Birthday Present For Elena Delivers

Ever since school days Elena, has had a love and fascination of the night sky. Damian’s birthday present of a tour with Honeysuckles Astronomy Tours appeared the best gift he could find! And he delivered well. The tour night was a great success with extra special views spanning several very balmy hours under a clear night sky.

The array of sights provided great variety in what can be seen in the night sky and our private tours are made to enable just that. A small group of guests in your own group – most common booking is a couple with just two people (but up to four in your group is our maximum) enables long looks at all objects, sometimes through multiple eyepieces for a different view.

Galaxies, spectacular nebula – which are star forming regions, clusters and more, feature in our normal tour nights. Oh and throw in a planet or two if they are up and about!

It’s a great night and Elena and Damian loved it. Enjoying a glass wine with it is icing on the cake!

“My husband and I recently had the opportunity to partake in an astronomy tour at The Honeysuckles. The day began with a warm welcome from Bruce in the afternoon at his homely beachside house. Bruce’s dog, Roughy, was a charming cohost who also made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived

As night approached, our experience took a cosmic turn. At around 8pm, Bruce opened a complimentary bottle of red wine for us and set up his impressive scientific-grade telescope for an unforgettable night of stargazing. The celestial sights were stunning, with highlights including Mars, Jupiter’s bands along with its four moons, the Great Orion Nebula, the Jewel Box and the Magellanic Clouds.

We spent the next four hours immersed in the night sky, totally absorbed by the incredible views Bruce expertly guided us through. After such a remarkable experience, we retired to our comfy overnight accommodation in the house.

The following morning Roughy proudly led us on a peaceful walk along the beautiful, unspoiled 90-mile beach, before returning for breakfast and being treated to Bruce’s world-famous omelettes.
