Friends Book A Three Night Stay With Tour On Night One

Booked some time in advance, our two couples group of friends were keen to combine a beachfront holiday with a first class night under the stars. And they were not disappointed. Helen and Bevan, with Josephine and Steven, enjoyed perfect observing conditions looking at planets, fabulous gaseous nebulae – star forming regions, globular clusters and more.

Late summer as we head into autumn sees the Milky Way make its way directly overhead at the right time of the evening to enjoy the naked eye view of it; but also, importantly, prime objects rise high in the sky for viewing also. It’s a smorgasbord of delightful treasures. A glass of wine for those so inclined tops off the evening just nicely!
