Shah’s (Surprise) Astronomy Tour Birthday Gift For Jayda Glistened Under Starlight

 

At Honeysuckles Astronomy Tours we have had our tours given as gifts for Christmas, all nature of birthday celebrations,  diverse anniversaries and whatever else you can imagine. But when Shah rang to discuss his plan to surprise his fiancee-to-be with a marriage proposal during our astronomy tour event, this was going to be something special.

And so it was the Heavens were smiling upon this plan. A spectacular tour under clear skies and perfectly still conditions lay in wait. All five planets beyond Earth were viewed, majestic star forming gas clouds were observed and faraway galaxies all put on a show for Jayda who has a keen interest in the night sky. Shah also could not have been happier. The stars must surely be aligning well for what was to come!

Our tour spanned three hours and after midnight when it drew to a close, Shah suggested the couple whose spirits would have been soaring by this time, enjoy a late night walk along the starlit desolate beach.

It wasn’t long before a new alignment had taken place in the form of an engagement on the shores of the Ninety Mile Beach under a twinkling starry sky … Endings to our astronomy tours don’t come much bigger and better than that. Congratulations Shah and Jayda on your engagement! We are delighted to have played a small part in it 🙂
