Yep, I’ve Got It!

Spectacular summer deep space objects were on display over the Australia Day Long Weekend. In the above photo, Patrick and Sandy are captured viewing a breathtaking gas cloud dotted with new-born stars in Orion. The remarkable 47 Tuc. along with Omega Centauri – ideally an autumn target unless if you’re up quite late when viewing at this time of year, were also on show. Double stars, a deep red carbon star adjacent to Mimosa in the Southern Cross and the giant Barred Spiral Galaxy NGC 1365 were also part of the show.
